I’m Bonifacio, a Florida State Certified Roofing Contractor with more than 30 years of experience. My journey began young, working on roofs in Chicago — the roofing capital of the world. Long days in freezing temperatures built the toughness and discipline that shaped my respect for the craft. In 1992, shortly after Hurricane Andrew devastated Homestead and South Florida, my wife and I moved to the area with our three daughters. What we found wasn’t a region rebuilding — it was one completely destroyed. Entire neighborhoods were flattened, families displaced, and communities still in shock. I put my skills straight to work helping restore homes and businesses, and those years deepened both my abilities and my appreciation for this place. Miami has an incredible ability to rise, rebuild, and reinvent itself, and contributing to that transformation has always left me grateful. Through the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, I worked as a subcontractor for some of South Florida’s most respected roofing companies, mastering commercial and residential systems — metal, tile, shingle, and flat roofing — and building a reputation for reliability, precision, and craftsmanship. After nearly three decades of hands-on experience, the next step became clear. In 2019, with my wife’s full support, we founded Flash Roofing and Sheet Metal, LLC — built on honesty, hard work, and genuine appreciation for the people we serve. Today, Flash Roofing specializes in metal, tile, shingle, and flat roofing, delivering work that reflects decades of experience, resilience, and gratitude — a story that started on the cold streets of Chicago and found its home under the Miami sun.
